Bluffant…

A lady came in to the gallery today, went straight to pick up the price list. She then came to me and asked abruptly, what is the size of the edition? I told her I haven’t decided it yet. But everything is numbered. Before I explained to her why I did it this way, she said to me, quite aggressively, I don’t do that. I need to know the edition. I don’t do that. Straight away she sneaked out from a gap at the gallery and left. I was a bit shocked. If she would have listened, I wanted to tell her I only do things guided by my feelings, and I only sell these prints to people who only purely love my works, who don’t care how much are the values of these works going to be appreciated or not over time. That little number on the back of the print is the least I can do to thank to these people for their love and support. Numbers are for the auction houses and opportunists. Mundane Matters doesn’t belong to that category. I manage my own prints. I sign them. I number them. Anyone who wants to buy them, come to me, not any shops nor galleries. These prints are there to bring happiness and positive energy to the owners. To remind them of the good things in life. To remind them when they struggle, I do too in my life and the best thing about it is that we will always learn to love life a little more at the end. I thank all my friends who purchase the prints. It truly means a lot. ❤️? A note: I am doing the made-to-order prints as soon as the exhibition finishes next Tuesday. If you are interested in buying any, you can shop on my Etsy page.
